Our services.

Our Whānau Support and Harm Prevention service is about helping whānau feel safe, supported, and strong in their own homes. We work alongside whānau to reduce the risk of future harm, strengthen relationships, and create healthier ways of communicating and coping when things get tough.

Through trust, honest kōrero, and practical support, we help whānau understand what’s driving the challenges they’re facing and support them to make changes that last. Our approach is non-judgemental, culturally grounded, and focused on building resilience, safety, and wellbeing for the whole whānau — now and into the future.

WHAT WE DO

• Create safe, welcoming environments for whānau to participate and express themselves.

• Build relationships through whakawhanaungatanga before initiating formal processes.

• Communicate clearly, using language that is accessible and culturally appropriate.

• Encourage whānau voice in planning, goal-setting, and decision-making.

• Acknowledge and incorporate whānau strengths, aspirations, and cultural identity.

RANGATAHI DEVELOPMENT (AGES 12–24)

Our Rangatahi Development service is about backing our young people to find their feet, their voice, and their own way forward. We work with rangatahi aged 12–24, meeting them where they’re at and supporting them through the challenges they’re facing — whether that’s at home, at school, in the justice space, or just trying to figure life out.

Grounded in kaupapa Māori and relationship-based practice, we focus on building confidence, resilience, and positive direction. We take the time to listen, build trust, and walk alongside rangatahi at their pace, helping them reconnect to their strengths, their identity, and their potential.

This is about more than programmes or plans — it’s about real relationships, real support, and creating pathways that help rangatahi feel seen, supported, and hopeful about what comes next.

WHAT WE DO
